Welcome food enthusiasts, today I am thrilled to introduce a hidden gem in Palisades Park, NJ - Mami Best Food. This Korean restaurant may not catch your eye at first glance with its modest exterior, but it certainly makes up for it with its mouthwatering dishes and authentic flavors.

Quick and easy take out. I ordered the mixed soondae. I wasn't too crazy about their regular soondae. It was too blend for me. I prefer their gogi soondae.
Hidden gem! So happy we found this place. Great homemade Korean food. If you miss food from Korea, this is a stop not to be missed.
My favorite place for Soondae Gook (Korean vermicelli blood sausage soup). Nothing beats their clean and honest soup that'll leave you sweating by the end of the meal. Perfect for the coldest days! At first glance, the restaurant's exterior and interior may not be the most alluring and modern, but the family-owned business is simply what it is. No flashing lights - just straight up sharing of good, healthy, homey meals. They're mostly known for their Soondae Gook ($15) with the original soondae, but I prefer their Soondae Gook with their veggie soondae (white colored soondae; not necessarily vegetarian) b/c I'm not comfortable with the aspect of "blood sausage." You'll have to specifically request all veggie soondae's in your Soondae Gook. If you're not up for Soondae Gook, their Seollung Tang (deep boiled bone broth soup w briskets and noodles; $15) is also good. Again, nothing too crazy, but homey... much of which reminds me of what my mom or grandma would cook at home. Enjoy!

This place has a special vegetable/meat soondae that tastes like dumplings. The soondae here isnt too strong and contains a lot of vermicelli so its pretty filling. You can always add extra salt too if you think it's bland.
It was umma's in law bday. Boo Boo and I came here to get some Korean delicacies. We got spicy braised pork feet and a large boiled? Pork belly maybe, not too sure I'm still learning Korean OG food. I think you can dine in but we only saw people doing take out as us. I think we were a bit disappointed in the pork belly. We ordered a large and it was quick small. Maybe pork priced went up? The mcrib is back so pork price can't be that high. Enjoy the pork belly with a slice of cabbage and dab of fermented shrimp.
Very authentic, no frills Korean restaurant. You're going here for the excellent quality, not the ambiance. They make the freshest blood sausage in the area. I especially love their blood sausage soup, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We used to dine in prior to COVID. Very pleased that their food tastes the same when ordered to go.
I don't know that I would necessarily dine in here, you do have the option as there is seating available, but I've gotten take out from here during quarantine and Mami Best Food is a good representation of Korean soul food. Their different kimchis that accompany the entrees were standard, nothing to rave about although some would say you can judge a Korean restaurant by it's kimchi, but don't be quick to judge. You can taste the time and effort that went into cooking the pork trotters (pigs feat) and it was yum. They also have a "white" blood sausage there that I was pleasantly surprised with. I love a good blood sausage, and even though it wasn't necessarily what a blood sausage should be, but rather casing filled with noodles, minced meat, and minced veggies, it was good! There are a lot of good Korean soul food options in the area so the competition is fierce, and this place can hold its own.
